back on course Scotland is an impartial information, advice and guidance service for people who have withdrawn from higher education before completing their intended qualification. We offer support to people who are interested in returning to education or exploring other positive options, such as employment, training or apprenticeships.

back on course Scotland is a limited pilot, funded by the Scottish Funding Council (SFC). This website contains useful resources for people who have withdrawn from higher education in Scotland, or they may wish to contact us directly.

The first back on course project was funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) as a three-year project, from 2009-2012.
